Every year, Brant United Way holds a Giant Sale that is put together with donations from several local companies such as S.C. Johnson & Son Ltd., Proctor & Gamble, Hawco Products Ltd., Masco Canada, Myers Industries Lawn &
Garden Group, Gunther Mele, Adidas Canada Ltd., Dominion Equipment
Chemical, Sure-Gro Inc., and Mitten Inc. Thousands of brand-name
products are sold at huge discounts of up to 90% off retail
prices--items like household cleaning and storage supplies, personal and air-care products, giftware, sporting goods, lawn & garden supplies and so much more...!
Mitten auctioned off four lots of siding online on the day of the sale.
In addition to our donation, several employees from our head office volunteered their time to help out at the event. "It's fun to help out your community, and it feels good to get involved!"--words heard throughout the day from our volunteers.
In addition to being a part of the Giant Sale, throughout the year Mitten also holds other events like BBQ's, 50/50 draws, bowling nights, and golf tournaments that raise money for the Brant United Way.
