MITTEN CEO AWARDED BY VSI FOR DISTINGUISHED SERVICE
Mitten is proud to announce that CEO Gary Ball is the recipient of VSI’s 2012 Ken Mieure Award for Distinguished Service. Presented on April 22 at the biannual VSI Spring Meeting in St. Petersburg, FL, this award is given to an individual in the vinyl siding industry who has volunteered both time and energy to the VSI organization and demonstrated a commitment to the vinyl siding industry as a whole.
Gary has worked in the industry for most of his life, beginning
in high school as an extruder operator and working his way through the industry—from Sales Manager, Operations Manager, Vice President, to CEO. He has spent countless hours in developing programs with VSI, chairing committees, and volunteering on Habitat for Humanity work projects.
When asked about what this award means to him, Gary replied, “This is quite unexpected! I am so honored that my industry peers have chosen me for this award. Thank you, VSI!”
VSI is the trade association for all vinyl siding manufacturers. They assist in growing the vinyl siding market through enhanced image and product awareness and creating standards and regulations for manufacturers to abide by.
